Everything could happen in Zagreb at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Alkar and 9th ranked Dubrava had identical 8-17 record. But Dubrava was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Sinj 88-64 on Sunday night. Alkar made 24-of-25 free shots (96.0 percent) during the game, while Dubrava only scored six points from the stripe. Alkar forced 20 Dubrava turnovers. American guard Patrick McGlynn (188-1992, college: URI) fired 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alkar (9-17) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sibenka. Dubrava lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Sonik P.. Alkar will meet at home Sonik P. (#11) in the next round. Dubrava will play against Sibenka in Sibenik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
