Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Napoli and 14th ranked Treviso had identical 9-13 record. But Treviso was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Napoli 77-67 on Sunday night. American forward Markis McDuffie (203-1997, college: Wichita St.) fired 27 points for the winners. His fellow American import forward Jordan Parks (201-1994, college: NCCU, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Napoli's coach Stefano Sacripanti allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Lithuanian guard Tomas Dimsa (195-1994) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Matteo Imbro (192-1994) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Napoli (10-13) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Trieste. Loser Treviso keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Napoli will meet at home higher ranked Brescia (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Treviso will play against Varese (#9) and hope to secure a win.
