Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Bergamo (15-10) won against at home 16th ranked Bernareggio (5-20) 77-71 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bergamo forced 21 Bernareggio turnovers. Swingman Guglielmo Sodero (191-1993) stepped up and scored 15 points and 4 assists for the winners and Swiss guard Nicolo Isotta (184-2003) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds.
