Regular Season Round 23: Piacenza - Cd'Orlando 91-85

Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Cd'Orlando (7-19) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Piacenza (13-12) 91-85 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Piacenza looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Gabe DeVoe (191-1995, college: Clemson) who scored 36 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Gherardo Sabatini (183-1994) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import swingman Tevin Mack (198-1997, college: Clemson) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Piacenza maintains seventh place in A2 with 13-12 record. Loser Cd'Orlando keeps the thirteenth position with 19 games lost.
