Regular Season Round 22: Zeta - Sutomore 96-91

The most important game in the last round took place in Golubovci between third ranked Sutomore (14-7) and eighth ranked Zeta (9-13) on Sunday night. Sutomore was defeated by Zeta in a tough game on the road 91-96. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Dejan Posuka (197-1997) who helped to win the game recording 39 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Predrag Lazarevic (-1981) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Aleksa Mandic (184-1997) replied with 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Balsa Bazovic (201-1998) added 29 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sutomore. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Zeta maintains eighth position with 9-13 record. Sutomore at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Zeta are looking forward to face higher ranked Montenegro (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sutomore will play against the league's second-placed Decic having rather not much hope for a victory.
