No shocking result in a game in Mirandola where ninth ranked Mantova (11-13) outleveled 11th ranked Biella (8-17) 86-62 on Sunday. Mantova dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Biella's 24. They outrebounded Biella 40-27 including 17 on the offensive glass. Mantova looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian swingman Vojislav Stojanovic (199-1997) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international power forward Antonio Iannuzzi (208-1991) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Mantova players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mantova moved-up to eighth place in A2. Loser Biella keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Mantova will meet higher ranked Pistoia (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
