Regular Season Round 16: Sutjeska - Jedinstvo 74-48

An interesting game for Sutjeska (10-5) which hosted in Niksic one of their biggest challengers Jedinstvo (9-7). Third ranked Sutjeska had an easy win 74-48. Sutjeska dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Jedinstvo's 16 and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Jedinstvo 37-20 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Jedinstvo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Vladimir Tomasevic (201-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Bosnian point guard Adi Zahiragic (187-1995) who added 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Serbian forward Bogdan Rutesic (202-2000, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian guard Bosko Bumbic (191-2001) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Jedinstvo's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sutjeska maintains third position with 10-5 record having just two points less than leader SC Derby. Jedinstvo at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Lovcen. Sutjeska will play against league's second-placed Podgorica on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jedinstvo will play against Danilovgrad and hopes to get back on the winning track.
