No shocking result in a game when second ranked Monaco (20-7) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Chalons-Reims (7-20) 107-90 on Tuesday. Monaco made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Paris Lee (183-1995, college: Illinois St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Lithuanian center Donatas Motiejunas (213-1990) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (206-1988, college: Georgia Tech) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and American point guard Dustin Ware (183-1990, college: Georgia, agency: Slash Sports) scored 20 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chalons-Reims' coach Cedric Heitz tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Monaco have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Levallois. Chalons-Reims lost eighth consecutive game.
