No shocking result in a game in Fos-sur-Mer where ninth ranked JSF Nanterre (14-13) smashed 16th ranked Provence Basket (8-19) 101-82 on Friday. It was a great evening for Adam Mokoka (196-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Jeremy Senglin (188-1995, college: Weber St.) helped adding 18 points. JSF Nanterre's coach Pascal Donadieu used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman DJ Stephens (195-1990, college: Memphis) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Deishuan Booker (190-1996, college: LBSU) scored 19 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Five JSF Nanterre and four Provence Basket players scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre maintains ninth place with 14-13 record. Newly promoted Provence Basket dropped to the seventeenth position with 19 games lost. JSF Nanterre will meet bottom-ranked Chalons-Reims (#18) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Provence Basket will play against Paris and hope to secure a win.
