Regular Season Round 28: Socuellamos - La Matanza 73-72

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked La Matanza (11-15) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Socuellamos (12-15) 73-72 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian point guard Adrian Armstrong (183, college: Concordia) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 steals and Georgian center Shota Gelazonia (205-1994) who added 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Socuellamos players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Imobach Gonzalez (193-1993) responded with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Adrian Tato (190-2000) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Socuellamos moved-up to tenth place in Group B. Loser La Matanza dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
