Everything went according to plan when third ranked Baskonia B (21-8) won against at home 11th ranked Valle de Egues (11-18) 85-69 on Saturday. Baskonia B looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan forward Franger Pirela (187-2002) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and guard Joseba Querejeta (189-2003) who added 12 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) during the contest. At the losing side point guard Alex Calvo (180-1991) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and Ivorian power forward Kouassi Konan (203-1991) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baskonia B moved-up to second place in Group A-A, which they share with Mondragon. Loser Valle de Egues dropped to the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
