The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Getxo's (18-9) home victory over 6th ranked Burgos Nissan (16-12) 95-88 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ander Fernandez (193-1994) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and center Asier Gonzalez (198-2000) who added 16 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Alvaro Martinez (199-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian forward Gonzalo Corbalan (191-2002, college: LCU) scored 25 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Getxo maintains fifth position in Group A-A with 18-9 record. Loser Burgos Nissan dropped to the seventh place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
