Regular Season Round 28: Molina - Castello 2 81-68

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Molina and their biggest opponent Castello 2 had identical 7-3 record. This time Molina used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Castello 81-68 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the second position in Group EDesc2. Worth to mention a great performance of Jose Lorca (-2001) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and Javier Velasco (-2001) who added 17 points during the contest. Molina's coach Javi Piqueras used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Andres Roig (188-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Jaime Campos (197-1998) scored 7 points and 13 rebounds. Molina (8-3) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group EDesc2. Loser Castello 2 dropped to the third position with four games lost. Molina will meet Begastri (#5) in the next round. Castello 2 will play against Calpe and hope to secure a win.
