Finals Game 1: Amager - Herlev 87-65

Amager clinched the third position in the final standings as they topped Herlev in the Bronze medals game. It looked good early as Herlev took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Amager had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and Herlev was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-87. Amager players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Herlev's players. American swingman Teja Twitty (178, college: UNCG) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) chipped in 7 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side the former international forward Ellen Iversen (180-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and forward Emilie Larsen (177-2001) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
