Everything went according to plan in Torrelavega where third ranked Cantabria (17-7) won against 8th ranked Melilla (12-14) 82-65 on Sunday. Cantabria dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Melilla's 22. Cantabria forced 19 Melilla turnovers. Croatian-Israeli forward Leo Cizmic (205-1998) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian Mirza Bulic (207-1992) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Cantabria players scored in double figures. Cantabria's coach David Mangas used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
