There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Wilki Morskie (15-14) defeated 6th ranked Twarde Pierniki (17-12) in Szczecin 92-87 on Sunday. American point guard Jay Threatt (180-1989, college: Delaware St.) nailed 20 points and 9 assists for the winning side and Guyanese forward Cyril Langevine (203-1998, college: URI, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 10 points and 15 rebounds. Five Wilki Morskie players scored in double figures. Croatian point guard Roko Rogic (187-1992) came up with 22 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard James Eads III (193-1997, college: Tuskegee, agency: 011 Sports) added 22 points and 5 assists respectively for Twarde Pierniki in the defeat. Twarde Pierniki's coach Ivica Skelin let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Wilki Morskie moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Astoria. Loser Twarde Pierniki keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Legia. Wilki Morskie will meet GTK (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
