Regular Season Round 24: Biella - Milano Urania 92-86
Date: April 10, 2022
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Milano Urania (10-16) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Biella (9-17) 92-86 on Sunday. Biella outrebounded Milano Urania 42-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Steven Davis (203-1993, college: Wright St., agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-1986, college: Siena) who added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Biella's coach Andrea Zanchi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Stefano Bossi (190-1994, agency: Players Group) with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Slovenian forward Mitja Nikolic (200-1991) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
