Regular Season Round 28: UAF Lucentum - Calpe 60-53

Very expected game in Alicante where 8th ranked Calpe (2-9) was defeated by fourth ranked UAF Lucentum (6-5) 60-53 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Paco Barros (195-1995) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds and Carlos Velazquez (186-2002) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Joaquin Crespo (189-2000) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Seikhou Konte scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UAF Lucentum maintains fourth position in Group EDesc2 with 6-5 record. Calpe lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. UAF Lucentum will meet at home Godella (#7) in the next round. Calpe will play against Castello 2 and hope to secure a win.
