Very predictable result when fifth ranked Vera (10-8) won against bottom-ranked Dinamo (3-14) in Tbilisi 89-72 on Sunday. The game without a history. Vera led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Vera outrebounded Dinamo 46-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by power forward Vakhtang Kadaria (205-1989, college: Mineral Area) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American forward Zac Seljaas (202-1997, college: BYU) supported him with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Five Vera players scored in double figures. Vera's coach Davit Gasitashvili used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by international swingman Nikoloz Gaprindashvili (198-2002) did not help to save the game for Dinamo. Forward Anzori Nadiradze (202-2001, agency: BIG) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Vera maintains fifth position with 10-8 record. Dinamo lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost. Vera's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena .
