Falcon got to a confident start of the championship series. They knocked down SISU in the opener. Falcon forced 29 SISU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by SISU's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Emilie Hesseldal (185-1990, college: Colorado St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Nikoline Agmund (170-2001) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Falcon players scored in double figures. Falcon's coach Jesper Krone felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Asta Blauenfeldt (168-2002) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for SISU.
