There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Valencia 2 (12-12) defeated at home 6th ranked La Roda (14-12) 105-91 on Sunday. Valencia 2 forced 23 La Roda turnovers. Guard Millan Jimenez (196-2002) scored 45 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian-Italian center Gonzalo Bressan (205-2001, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Valencia 2's coach Xavi Albert used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Alvaro Sanz (190-1998, agency: Promo Sport ID) responded with 27 points and 6 steals and Bahamas forward Radshad Davis (193, college: FIU) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four La Roda players scored in double figures. Valencia 2 moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Loser La Roda keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost.
