There was no surprise when 14th ranked Orzinuovi (3-24) was crushed on the road by first ranked Udine (22-4) 104-47 on Sunday. Udine dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Orzinuovi's 26. They outrebounded Orzinuovi 39-16 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Udine shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 69.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Orzinuovi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-1995) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 assists and American forward Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
