Regular Season Round 26: Legnano K. - Omegna 83-84

The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers Legnano K.'s (15-10) home loss to third ranked Omegna (20-6) 83-84 on Sunday. Naturalized Albanian Franko Bushati (191-1985) notched 31 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and forward Marco Planezio (198-1991) supported him with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds by guard Diego Terenzi (193-1995) did not help to save the game for Legnano K.. Guard Tommaso Marino (192-1986, agency: SLN) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. Five Omegna and four Legnano K. players scored in double figures. Omegna maintains third position in B with 20-6 record having just three points less than leader Agrigento. Newly promoted Legnano K. keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Omegna will meet league's second-placed Vigevano on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Legnano K. will play against Livorno Pielle and hope to secure a win.
