Regular Season Round 28: Gravelines - Bourg 93-81

We should mention about the upset which took place in Gravelines, where higher ranked Bourg (14-11) lost to sixteenth ranked Gravelines (9-19) in a road game 81-93. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Fabien Damase (200-2002) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Hugo Boumpoutou (195-2004) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Gravelines players scored in double figures. Swingman Corentin Falcoz (192-2002) replied with 40 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Elian Benitez (180-2003) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Bourg. Gravelines moved-up to fifteenth place. Bourg at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Gravelines will play against higher ranked Fos-Provence (#9) in Fos-sur-Mer in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bourg will play at home against the league's second-placed Cholet having rather not much hope for a victory.
