Regular Season Round 28: Limoges CSP - Le Mans 75-47

Very expected game when 13th ranked Le Mans (10-17) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Limoges CSP (20-6) 75-47 on Tuesday. Limoges CSP dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Le Mans' 26. Limoges CSP forced 19 Le Mans turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Hugo Desseignet (175-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals and Cedrick Sam Mbaka (198-2002) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Limoges CSP players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dutch point guard Kezia Heulin (183-2002) responded with 7 points and Lucas Veraghe (197-2001) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Limoges CSP have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-6 record having just one point less than leader ASVEL. Loser Le Mans dropped to the twelfth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Roanne. Limoges CSP will meet at home Chalons-Reims (#7) in the next round. Le Mans will play against Nanterre (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
