Regular Season Round 28: Dijon - Monaco 96-87

The most important game in the last round took place in Dijon between second ranked Monaco (20-8) and eighth ranked JDA Dijon (15-12) on Tuesday night. Monaco was defeated by JDA Dijon in a tough game on the road 87-96. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Monaco. JDA Dijon made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Trinidad and Tobago-American Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. American point guard David Holston (173-1986, college: Chicago St.) contributed with 19 points and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Mike James (185-1990, college: Lamar) replied with 17 points and American-Georgian forward Will Thomas (203-1986) added 16 points in the effort for Monaco. Four JDA Dijon and five Monaco players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JDA Dijon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Le Mans. Monaco at the other side keeps the second position with eight games lost. JDA Dijon is looking forward to face Le Portel (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Monaco will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
