There was a surprise result in Warszawa where tenth ranked Trefl (15-15) beat higher ranked Legia (17-13) 109-104 on Wednesday. Trefl looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American-British center Josh Sharma (213-1995, college: Stanford) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Karol Gruszecki (198-1989, college: UT Arlington) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Robert Johnson (192-1995, college: Indiana) who recorded 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import forward Adam Kemp (208-1990, college: Marist) added 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Trefl and four Legia players scored in double figures. Legia's coach Wojciech Kaminski tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Trefl moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Astoria and King. Loser Legia keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Twarde Pierniki.
