No shocking result in a game when second ranked Milano (20-5) beat at home bottom-ranked Cremona (7-19) 70-61 on Wednesday. Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Cremona's 30. The former international Nicolo Melli (205-1991) notched 12 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Danish forward Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) supported him with 13 points. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Tres Tinkle (203-1996, college: Oregon St.) did not help to save the game for Cremona. Lithuanian guard Adas Juskevicius (194-1989, agency: Alti Sport) added 11 points and 4 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Milano maintains second position with 20-5 record having just two points less than leader Virtus BO. Loser Cremona stay at the bottom place with 19 games lost. Milano will meet at home league's leader Virtus BO in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cremona will play against Sassari (#6) and hope to secure a win.
