Regular Season Round 19: Tirana - Partizani 74-61

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tirana: Tirana (#2) and Partizani (#5). Tirana (12-5) won against visiting Partizani (5-14) 74-61. Tirana looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Partizani's players. It was a great evening for international guard Eldi Hysa (195-1999, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Endrit Hysenagolli (208-1988) helped adding 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Tirana players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international guard Mired Jani (190-1990) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Sierra Leonean center Robert Konteh (205-1994, college: Central St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Tirana maintains second place with 12-5 record having just two point less than leader Teuta. Partizani at the other side keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost. Tirana's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tirana to the arena Kamza.
