Serie A top team - Virtus BO (23-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Pesaro (12-15) 96-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pesaro. Virtus BO players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Virtus BO. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-3 record. Pesaro at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. Virtus BO will play against Tortona (#4) at home in the next round. Pesaro will play against Trento (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
