Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Monopoli AN (8-18) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Cassino (10-17) 92-86 on Saturday. Cassino dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Monopoli AN's 34. It was an exceptional evening for guard Stefano Borsato (193-1986) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Michael Teghini (192-1992) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Point guard Giovanni Laquintana (187-1991) came up with 29 points and 5 rebounds and guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (186-1984) added 18 points respectively for Monopoli AN in the defeat.
