We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Senigallia (15-12) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Faenza (14-13) 65-63 on Saturday. Faenza made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Faenza outrebounded Senigallia 52-28 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Simone Aromando (200-1997, agency: SLN) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 23 rebounds. Giovanni Poggi (201-1997) accounted for 16 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Marco Giacomini (182-1994) came up with 14 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and point guard Filippo Giannini (184-1991) added 15 points respectively for Senigallia in the defeat.
