Date: April 17, 2022
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tirana: Tirana (#2) and Kamza (#4). Kamza was defeated at home 78-83 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The best player for the winners was the former international center Endrit Hysenagolli (208-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 21 rebounds. International guard Eldi Hysa (195-1999, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Matthew Eldridge (203-1996, college: Lindsey Wilson) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Eric Williams (196-1995, college: Greenville) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Kamza players scored in double figures. Tirana have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-5 record having just two point less than leader Teuta. Newly promoted Kamza keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Tirana are looking forward to face league's leader Teuta in Durres in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kamza's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tirana Dinamo.
