Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Zaragoza (18-11) beat at home 11th ranked Promete (11-19) 81-64 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American guard Sierra Calhoun (183-1996, college: Rutgers) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import forward Merritt Hempe (190-1994, college: Georgia) chipped in 22 points. Four Zaragoza players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Portuguese-Serbian guard Jovana Nogic (185-1997, college: Providence) who recorded 20 points and 4 assists and Belgian center Serena-Lynn Geldof (197-1997, college: Miami, FL) added 15 points respectively.
