Worth to mention a great performance of guard Carlotta Zanardi (178-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Polish center Joanna Grymek (202-1996, college: Oregon St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Brescia's coach Stefano Zanardi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international guard Ashley Ravelli (176-1993, college: RMU) answered with 24 points and guard Ada De Pasquale (178-1995) added 17 points in the effort for Scrivia. Brescia maintains fourth place in A2 with 18-6 record. Scrivia at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Brescia will play against Carugate (#9) in Corugate in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Scrivia will play at home against Vicenza and hopes to get back on the winning track.
