We should mention about the upset which took place in Paris, where higher ranked JDA Dijon (16-13) lost to fourteenth ranked Paris (12-18) in a road game 83-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. Paris shot 27 for 38 from the free-throw line, while JDA Dijon only scored eleven points from the stripe. JDA Dijon was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Kyle Allman (190-1997, college: CS Fullerton) who led his team to a victory with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Ismael Kamagate (211-2001) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Paris players scored in double figures. American point guard David Holston (173-1986, college: Chicago St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 assists and 5 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and naturalized Chadian power forward Jacques Alingue (203-1988) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for JDA Dijon. Paris moved-up to thirteenth place. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Paris will play against Entente Orleans 45 (#16) at home in the next round. JDA Dijon will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
