No shocking result in a game in Fos-sur-Mer where fifth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (18-11) defeated 16th ranked Provence Basket (9-21) 97-89 on Tuesday. Limoges CSP Elite made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Limoges CSP Elite outrebounded Provence Basket 34-21 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard Nicolas Lang (198-1990, agency: BeoBasket) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Demonte Harper (193-1989, college: Morehead St.) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists during the contest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Limoges CSP Elite have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Provence Basket dropped to the seventeenth position with 21 games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will meet at home bottom-ranked Chalons-Reims (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Provence Basket will play against Monaco and hope to secure a win.
