The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Kutaisi as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Kutaisi defeated 11th ranked Dinamo at home 85-79. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 20-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-79.
