We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Roma where Biella (11-18) beat RO Eurobasket (11-18) 83-74 on Saturday. Biella had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-1986, college: Siena) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import Steven Davis (203-1993, college: Wright St., agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 21 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-1994, college: Weber St.) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Matteo Schina (181-2001, agency: Players Group) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four RO Eurobasket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Biella will meet at home RO SAzzurra (#13) in the next round. RO Eurobasket will play against Trapani and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
