The best player for the winners was American forward Haley Peters (190-1992, college: Duke) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. American-British guard Sydney Wallace (173-1993, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Julie Wojta (185-1989, college: Green Bay) who recorded 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Marie Pardon (177-2001, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists respectively. Gazelles moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Angers. Loser Tarbes dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. Gazelles will meet at home league's leader Bourges in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
