Finals Game 5: Sf.Gheorghe - Arad 78-60

Sfantu Gheorghe claimed Liga Nationala title. They prevailed against Arad in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Sf.Gheorghe. Arad managed to win third quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 assists. American-Guyanese forward Brianna Fraser (190-1997, college: Maryland) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Andreona Keys (178-1995, college: Purdue) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Czech center Tereza Vitulova (188-1999, college: S.Florida) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Arad. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
