Everything could happen in Sinj at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Dubrava and 9th ranked Alkar had identical 11-19 record. But Alkar was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Zagreb 79-72 on Saturday night. Strangely Alkar outrebounded Dubrava 45-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Guard Mateo Vidovic (193-1999, agency: PEPI SPORT) nailed 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and center Filip Krajina (209-1995) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Center Hrvoje Vucic (210-1991, college: Walsh) came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Sime Lisica (190-1998) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Alkar in the defeat. Alkar's coach Vladimir Krstic tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Dubrava. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Zabok. Loser Alkar dropped to the tenth position with 20 games lost. Dubrava will meet at home Sibenka (#8) in the next round. Alkar will play against Sonik P. in Zadar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
