Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Sueca (5-9) was outscored at home by fifth ranked Alginet B (8-6) 78-56 on Saturday. Alginet B shot 25 for 41 from the free-throw line, while Sueca only scored six points from the stripe. It was an exceptional evening for forward Ivan Santafe (198-2002) who led the winners and scored 16 points. Sergio Romero (-2000) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winning side. Forward Vicent Santamatilde (197-1994) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Carles Grau added 11 points and 7 assists respectively for Sueca in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alginet B have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in Group EDesc1, which they share with L'Alcora. Sueca at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with nine games lost.
