Regular Season Round 22: Lyon - Hainaut 76-74

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Hainaut (8-14) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Lyon (15-7) 76-74 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Lyon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Canadian center Kayla Alexander (193-1991, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-1996) chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Peyton Williams (193-1998, college: Kansas St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and American-Nigerian forward Amy Okonkwo (188-1996, college: TCU) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Hainaut players scored in double figures. Lyon moved-up to third place, which they share with Landes. Loser Hainaut keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost.
