The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (18-8) in Tel Aviv on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Maccabi Tel-Aviv (17-8) 89-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Jerusalem. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Americans were the main players on the court. At the losing side guard Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn) responded with 26 points and KC Rivers (196-1987, college: Clemson, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Hapoel Jerusalem at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Maccabi Tel-Aviv are looking forward to face Hapoel Haifa (#6) at home in the next round. Hapoel Jerusalem will play against Bnei Hasharon (#3) in Hod Hasharon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
