The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked Puerto Sagunto's (11-3) home victory over their biggest opponent Molina (9-5) in Gilet 86-56 on Sunday. Puerto Sagunto dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Molina's 28. Puerto Sagunto forced 21 Molina turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Molina's players. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Carlos Sales (194-1998) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 6 assists. Jesus Cerisuelo (-1998) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Puerto Sagunto players scored in double figures. Forward Rene Cadme (194-1999) came up with 8 points and 9 rebounds and Jose Lorca (-2001) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Molina in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Puerto Sagunto maintains first place in Group EDesc2 with 11-3 record. Newly promoted Molina keeps the second position with five games lost.
