The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Trapani's (14-16) home victory over 10th ranked RO Eurobasket (11-19) 87-70 on Sunday. Trapani made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Trapani outrebounded RO Eurobasket 45-30 including 35 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by forward Marco Mollura (198-1993) who scored that evening 3 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Vincenzo Guaiana (195-2000) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Trapani's coach Daniele Parente used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-1994, college: Weber St.) did not help to save the game for RO Eurobasket. His fellow American import swingman Jeffrey Carroll (198-1994, college: OK State) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Trapani maintains ninth position with 14-16 record. RO Eurobasket lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Chieti.
