Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Prat (10-21) was defeated on the road by second ranked Granada (24-8) 89-75 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Granada especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. It was a great evening for the former international forward Pere Tomas (202-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Liberian guard Thomas Bropleh (196-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Duran International) helped adding 12 points. Four Granada players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Arnau Parrado (203-2000) responded with 21 points and American guard TJ Crockett (185, college: Lindenwood) scored 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Granada maintains second place with 24-8 record behind leader Estudiantes. Prat lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventeenth position with 21 games lost. Granada will meet Castello (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Prat will play against Coruna (#5) and hope to secure a win.
