Rist Wedel was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for guard Daniel Kirchner (187-1997) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Naturalized American Grant Teichmann (191-1996, college: C-N) accounted for 20 points and 5 assists for the winning side. American point guard Jordan Walker (184-1997, college: Morehead St.) came up with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Croatian Martin Jelic (198-1999) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Rist Wedel in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
