Mersin stormed past Ormanspor to surge ahead in the series. Mersin outrebounded Ormanspor 39-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Mersin players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of North Macedonian-American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-1987, college: Auburn) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 rebounds. British-Nigerian forward Temi Fagbenle (193-1992, college: USC) contributed with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Mersin players scored in double figures. Mersin's coach Osman Orak felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Sevgi Uzun (170-1997) answered with 22 points and 5 assists and American point guard Danielle Robinson (178-1989, college: Oklahoma) added 11 points and 5 assists in the effort for Ormanspor.
